I have always slept with my babies close to me. It’s only natural that children want their “babies” (whether it be a doll, animal, or blanket) to sleep by them. Nenuco has created a really neat set that encourages just that and I was happy to partner with Nenuco for this review.
The Nenuco Sleep With Me Baby Doll & Cradle is a neat little set that includes a cradle that plays music and has a nightlight, baby doll, blanket, bottle, and pacifier. While there is a little assembly required, I was able to master it within ten minutes by myself. The directions were laid out in order and were “picture style” so they were very easy to follow. The pieces all snapped together and secured easily and the final result is a fairly sturdy cradle.
The baby doll in this Nenuco set is absolutely adorable. She comes with a cute pink bow on her head too. One feature that my kids really like is that her eyes open and close as she is laid down or picked up. Really makes her feel more real. I remember when I was young, my cousin had a doll with a pacifier. I requested for years on birthdays and Christmas’s, to no avail, to have one of my own. Now my children seem to have the same fascination and were thrilled to finally have a baby with a pacifier and bottle that fit in the baby’s mouth. Another big hit is the star nightlight on the cradle, which changes color and plays music. Our one year old mastered the nightlight immediately. Nenuco really did an amazing job including so many fun accessories and features that make this set irresistible.
The most unique feature about this particular cradle is that it can be used free-standing or it can be attached to a bed as a co-sleeper. There was a slight disagreement on who would get to use this feature first. Since our 6 year old has been really enjoying playing “daddy” lately, he won first go. I think he slept with a smile on his face all night!
This Baby Doll & Cradle set from Nenuco is truly the nicest we’ve owned. It’s so versatile with being able to use it freestanding or attached to a bed. The accessories are the perfect finishing touch. If I had to list one thing I’d change, it would be that they would offer this same set in a boy doll version as well. While our son is enjoying the baby doll that came with, he would love to have a boy baby. Our daughter, on the other hand, is thrilled that it’s a girl. Either way, this set has been in almost constant use since its arrival.
