No matter how careful I try to be, I end up dropping, breaking, scratching, spilling, and wrecking things. So I know it would be impossible to expect our four children to never have accidents as well. While floors can be scrubbed, and spills can be cleaned, pieces of technology are not so easily taken care of if dropped unprotected. We’ve had different cases for our iPad in the past but I was on the hunt to find something even more “kid proof” than what we were currently using. Then I came across Big Grips. I was intrigued and excited when they agreed to send me their product to review.
I received the Purple Big Grips Frame and Stand for our iPad 3. My initial reaction was positive and I couldn’t believe how lightweight the Big Grips Frame was. It’s definitely chunky and big but also soft and easy to grab, carry, and hold. My husband had no trouble slipping our iPad into the Big Grips frame, yet it is secure and will definitely not fall out.
The Big Grips Frame and Stand are non-toxic. No BPA, lead, or latex to worry about. It feels very durable yet so lightweight. There are cut outs where the charging port, camera, and buttons are so there is no need to remove the iPad from the frame during normal use. While we try to keep the kids from eating while using the iPad, that doesn’t always happen. So far, we have found the Big Grips Frame and Stand easy to clean by simply wiping down with a damp rag. The kids really like how easy the Big Grips frame is to carry and place in the stand, and I like knowing our iPad is in a kid-friendly product that will help protect it. It just so happens that our two year old even dropped the iPad about a minute after we first inserted it into the Big Grips frame and my husband was even impressed with the way it cushioned the blow. Overall, we really like our Big Grips products and would recommend checking them if you’re in the market for kid-friendly iPad protection.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates.
