Five children and two adults in our family equals a lot of growing feet that are constantly needing new shoes and boots. With the end of Summer and beginning of Fall comes the exchange of footwear again. Bare feet and flip flops are out, rain boots, sneakers, and as much as it hurts to say, even some Winter gear already is in. Western Chief has a great variety of products for the family and I was happy to partner with them to bring you this review.
I was sent the Lighted Camo Rain Boots in size boys 10 from Western Chief. As soon as our 4 year old saw these, he was so excited. He has a few camouflage clothing items that he loves and these boots were a huge hit with him too. The top of the boot is nice and roomy which allows him to slip the boots on and off by himself. (Promoting independence is always a huge plus for me when it comes to children’s products!) There are two nice handles at the top of each boot to assist with pulling on but I’ve found that my son doesn’t even need to use them. We have found that these run true to size compared with his other current footwear.
Now, of course, my son’s favorite feature is the light-up action. He loves seeing the flash of lights with each step he takes. Our 2 year old son is also mesmerized by this and I find him tromping around in his big brother’s Western Chief Lighted Camo Boots on a daily basis. Who am I kidding, I don’t blame the 2 year old because want a pair too!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

Good boots for kids are so important to keep little feet safe and their socks dry. I even have a hard time finding adult boots that stand up against the wear and tear. These are stylish or cool to kids for sure.
He sure looks proud of his new boots. I love the look of them too!!!
