I had promised last week that I would update with pictures after I gave my nephew the new items we were donated for him. If you want the background story (which is sweet and worth the read!) you can find that here
but anyway. He was thrilled to receive the items – I thought it was especially neat that the lady and just guessed that he might like spiderman, and had purchased a hat and mitten set with spidey on them. Which, he’s OBSESSED with spiderman, so I thought that was really neat and thought he’d be the most excited over the spiderman stuff. But no.
What was he most excited over?
The boots. the just plain black, wal mart brand boots. Here they are, except his are all black.
He liked them so much that even over an hour and a half later, when I left he was still refusing to take them off.
I guess that’s kids for you though. so unpredictable. But I’m so thankful that he has new stuff to keep him warm at least through this winter and probably next, as all of the things seemed just a little bit too big, so maybe they’ll fit next year too.
I also wanted to let you know that I have a few new monsters in my shop. here they are.
