I know things have been slow around here because the last couple days i’ve been addicted to the tradaholics trade and stay. But also because my nephew finally decided to be born woo hoo! I’ll do a post on him later, I promise :D. Also, Ryan (my boyfriend) turned 24 on the 28th, so that is another reason why things have been slow.
Sadly, I can’t say they are going to get better overly soon. The 16th is my last day of classes, and then I have a week of exams after that. The last couple weeks of classes I get TONS of homework, mainly in the form of papers, due. For example, today I had a test for my art history class, that has 4 tests and 3 papers, and between those seven grades, that’s the only things you get graded on for the entire class. So every test and paper is a really big deal, of course. So I had a test in there, PLUS a presentation that was worth 20% of my grade in another class. For each of those classes, I have a paper due next week, for the class I just did the presentation for, the paper is on the same topic as my presentation, and worth another 20 percent, so between the presentation today and the paper, this ‘big project’ is worth 40 percent. Ew! For my sculpture class I have 4 glass periods to finish a sculpture that I’ve barely started (professors fault, not mine, but it still gets pushed onto me. Yet, I wonder if it will because only one person is farther than I am, so basically everyone is going to fail because they aren’t finished enough? but how can he get away with that??) Anyway. I have two papers due in that class next week.
Then for my other class I have a portfolio due tomorrow, which I’ve barely even started because I had this huge important project and a test due today. And I barely slept last night (maybe 4 hours?) Cause I’m SUPER shy, though you could never tell on here, I know. However, I was SO tired by the time I got done at school this aternoon that I layed down with my coat on, cell phone still in my pocket, etc. and finally got up about 20 minutes ago.
Plus, my last day of finals is April 22nd, and the next day we are moving. Which I’m super excited about, but it will cause yet another delay in the blogging process.
Anyway, my purpose for this post (which has taken me SO long to get around to, haha) was that I am just trying to stay above water in school right now, so I won’t be posting much for the next 3-3.5 weeks or so, unfortunately. I do have a lot of awesome stuff to review though, and will get at least one thing up here and there between now and the end of April, but it won’t be as much, sadly. I hope you are willing to be patient with me and understand that I have to put college in front of my blog, though I’d rather things be the other way around most the time. Hehe.
