We just got delayed again, when we called today. She was in, and answered. She said she is still trying to figure out if it was actually Ryan’s background that the criminal past was on. We know it wasn’t, and so it seems like she could quickly realize she mistakenly looked at someone elses, not his? By simply looking at his. So I’m not sure what about the process takes a week or better.
We’re going to call again Friday. If we bug her enough she’ll have to start actually getting answers for us – right?
I guess we’ll see.
Hi there! I am Emily Evert, the owner of Emily Reviews. I am 28 and live in a small town in Michigan with my boyfriend Ryan and our two pugs. I have a large family and I adore my nieces and nephews. I love reading memoirs, and learning about child development and psychology. I love watching The Game of Thrones, Teen Mom, Sister Wives and Veep. I like listening to Jason Isbell, John Prine, and other alt-country or Americana music. I created Emily Reviews as a creative outlet to share my life and the products that I love with others.

Wow. It sounds a lot like she's giving you the run around. How could she not know if it was you, your boyfriend, or some random person that has an issue in their background check? Wouldn't a report have a specific name on it? Craziness. Call everyday. Call twice a day. Take turns.

You're a much better, more patient person than I am. I would be making daily visits in person by this point, and most likely causing a scene. I'm so sorry you have to go through something so AWFUL!!

She doesn't sound like she knows what she's doing! She also sounds very unreliable! How does anyone rent an apartment from this women, is what I'm really wondering at this point!? Good luck!
