I’ll be really open and honest – I don’t exercise. Ever. I was in sports as a little kid, up through 9th grade but nothing at all since then. When I’m not in school we don’t even leave the house some days. I am lucky to have stayed at a relatively stable weight for several years now, but for several years now I’ve been somewhat unhappy with certain parts of me that I wish I could just tone, and I don’t like not being active at all, as I know it’s not good for me even if it’s not causing weight gain.
I’d like to start doing something, and thought about doing yoga, but my boyfriend is also interested in trying something and he definitely won’t be up for yoga. I think it’s a good idea to try and do something together, so that we can bug each other to keep us going with whatever we try to do. I like to walk, mainly because I love to talk and when you’re just walking it’s a great way to talk, haha. I could easily get in the habit of walking. I suggested this and Ryan said he doesn’t think it’d actually cause weight loss, which he wants. Does anyone know if it is enough to cause weight gain?
Plus, we’re both shy and are somewhat hermit-like so we’re looking to avoid the gym.
Any ideas for something that two non-exercisers could do, and stick to?

How about the Wii? They have yoga for that too, which is actually pretty fun.

My boyfriend says the same thing about walking, but if you do enough of it, it can help. Biking could be good too. I love biking, I just haven't forked out the money for a nice bike.
