Miss Lucy’s monogram’s is a shop that in my opinion has the best of both worlds. It has a huge selection of products. You an find everything from totes and diaper bags to hats to aprons. However, despite the large amount of product options, there is still that ‘small shop’ personal feeling that I love. I love black and white damask, especially when you throw a bit of red into the mix. This probably doesn’t surprise you if you have seen my blog layout, hehe. I was thrilled to get the chance to review a mini damask duffel bag from miss lucy’s monograms. The mini duffel comes with free personalization, so I was able to choose between having a letter, my initials or a name added in my choice of font and color. I chose to have ‘Emmy’ written on it in red, of course! When the bag arrived I was thrilled with the quality. The lettering is absolutely adorable and is clearly high quality, I have no doubt that it will remain just as gorgeous as it is now for years to come.

The mini duffel is mini compared to a full sized duffel, but is pretty generously sized and would be great for sleep overs, as a gym/sport bag etc. I would have gotten a ton of use out of this during high school.

It comes with two strap types, one that can be adjusted to varying lengths but is the longer ‘shoulder’ type of strap, then there are the smaller straps that allow you to hold it in one hand a few inches above the top of the bag. If you prefer the hand straps you have the option of removing the longer strap so that it doesn’t get in your way. Another feature I really like is there are four nobs or feet that keep the bottom of the bag from hitting the ground when it’s sitting on the ground, which is a great feature for a bag like mine that includes a big portion of white or really light fabric that could stain if sat on the ground.
