One of the best things about csnstores is the huge selection of products to choose from. I’ve reviewed such a vast variety of products from Juliana 4tier growing rack, which is a mini greenhouse. It’s a set of shelves with a plastic cover that covers the racks. The growing rack can be used indoors or outdoors, and only takes up a small amount of floor space. The racks are 27″ wide and 19″ deep, so it easily fits both inside or on a deck or patio. Once spring hits we plan to move this out onto our balcony, but for now it’s inside in front of our sliding door where the light comes through all day. To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect from the outer cover. For the most part, I didn’t think the cover would benefit the rack much, as I didn’t see how this thin, see through cover could possibly act like a greenhouse. However, I’ve opened the zipper during the day and been amazed at how well it holds heat. It really seems to work. We read up on indoor gardening and have been trying it for the last 2.5 weeks or so. Previously I had no idea that you can grow small vegetables by growing them inside the entire time. This is a great option for those of you who love fresh food and/or saving money. Our plants have been growing well so far so we are keeping our fingers crossed that it works. However, even if you aren’t interested in keeping the plants indoors and growing them during the winter, it’s usually a good idea to start plants inside before transfering them outside, so this rack is a great option for that. Plus, you can always remove the cover and use the shelves as food storage or most anything else, for the rest of the year. The only thing about this growing rack that I would change if we could, is the backside of the shelves are completely open, so we once had a small pot fall backwards off of the shelf. However, I absolutely love this indoor greenhouse in every other way. The rack retails for 54.99 at csnstores and ships for free. It’s definitely a great value. Now I just want another so I can grow even more stuff.
