Valentines day will be here before we know it. Most years, Ryan and I do a pretty typical valentines day. I get him chocolate, he gets me flowers, a stuffed animal or candy and we go out to dinner. This is enjoyable, but sometimes my last minute trip to wal mart for a box of chocolate makes me feel a bit guilty. If you’re looking for something more fun and thoughtful, consider zic and chacha. Zic & ChaCha is a company that makes his and hers boxer sets. The idea itself is adorable. The women’s boxers are shorter and styled for a woman’s body, while the men’s are styled for men, but the pattern used on the boxers for him and her are the same. Ryan and I received a set of his and hers boxers from zic and chacha. I typically don’t review the packaging because well, most of the time it doesn’t matter. However, it always feels great to open a package that is wrapped in tissue paper with a ribbon, etc. It just feels so nice and thoughtful that it always puts a smile on my face, and that was exactly how my zic and chacha package arrived. After unwrapping the boxers, I immediately realized that these were not your typical boxers. The boxers are 100% fine european cotton. To be honest, when I saw the description on the website I assumed they were talking up regular old cotton, because I had never heard of european cotton, but you can feel the difference and it’s nice! I love how much detail has went into the boxers, including the tags which are sewn down on all 4 sides so they don’t move around and scratch you. The sizing is accurate, but as usual I sized up ‘just in case’ only to find out that in doing so I made them a bit too big. So if you are between sizes go with the smaller size at zic and chacha. I probably should have realized it would be a safe call to go smaller, considering boxers have elastic, but oh well. In addition to the boxers I received a sheer white bedroom tank. The tank is AMAZINGLY soft, delicate and intentionally see through. It feels amazing on, it’s extremely soft and comfortable. Overall we love our matching boxers set.
