This review was published in 2011, and was my honest experience with the company at that time. However, I was contacted recently (I am writing this in Feb 2022) by someone who was scammed by this company after finding my review. I went to look at the ‘thats my shirt’ Facebook page and found many comments of other people sharing similar experiences. It seems that they have been accepting payments for orders but are not sending out the products. So, I would not advise shopping with this company.
I have some unique interests that lead to some unique interests in clothing. I enjoy rock bands that most people have never heard of, becuase they aren’t found on the radio. Between that and my interest in some child-like things like where the wild things are, wall-e and knitted bear hats (adult size of course!), I probably earn the title of unique. As a young teenager I found that many of my favorite bands had items for sale at Hot Topic so I bought some from there, but it didn’t take long to realize that a LOT of people shop there and buying their items results in other kids in my classes having the same shirt (or bag, or belt, etc) as me. So when I found That’s My Shirt, an online store with unique shirts and accessories I was thrilled. I was even more excited to learn that I could do a review. There were so many items I would have loved to review, but I decided on a Where The Wild Things Are long sleeved shirt. The shirt is made by Junk Food, a company that I have other shirts for that I bought at Hot Topic. I’ve always had good luck with Junk Food and this new shirt has been no exception. It’s a light pink color and is feminine in how it fits, yet it’s still a basic long sleeved shirt which makes it super comfortable. I have washed my shirt a few times and it has held up great. I couldn’t be more pleased with my shirt. In addition to t shirts, thatsmyshirt sells belts, belt buckles, watches, and more.

I looked for a nice shirt with WHERE THE WILD THINGS are for several years before the movie came out. No luck. This shirt would have been perfect for my preschool story times.
