My town is having a march of dimes walk April 30th. I was planning on signing up with some friends and trying to convince my friends and family to donate. Then I was thinking that maybe I could use my blog to help out. I’ve seen other blogs have sponsors donate items for silent auctions for items, and then have the profits go to an organization of some kind. I thought about doing that, but I have no idea how willing people would be to participate.
Another idea I had was to get companies to sponsor items and then have people pay 1.00 per entry into the giveaway. That way they could donate as much as they wanted instead of just bidding. Any ideas on which would go over better?
Seems how the walk is so soon I want to get on this ASAP. I’d also love to have other bloggers join me in doing something similar on their blogs if they wanted. Other ideas are welcome too! 🙂
