Hey there! I’ve been super excited about our upcoming trip to Disneyland and have been planning every little detail for months. Being someone with generalized anxiety, planning everything really helps me stay calm. Today, I wanted to share all the essential items I’m packing for our theme park adventure.
First up, let’s talk about what to wear. Here are some of my suggestions:
- Activity-friendly Clothing: When visiting a theme park, it’s best to wear clothes that allow unrestricted movement, breathe well, and dry quickly for comfort. Check out Baleaf activewear for terrific options that provide maximum comfort and convenience.
- Supportive Shoes: I’m bringing two pairs of shoes from Vessi. Alternating between two pairs is a good idea to give your feet a break and ensure you have a dry pair if one gets wet.
Moving on to the items I’ll be packing in my park bag:
- Park Bag: Whether you need a diaper bag, backpack, or crossbody bag, make sure you get something comfortable for all-day wear and has the storage and organization you need. I found my bag at Fun.com.
- Cooling Patches: I get overheated easily, so I always carry MomMed Cooling Patches for that extra cool relief.
- Compact Fans: JisuLife‘s rechargeable compact fans, which come in various sizes, styles, and colors, are perfect for battling the heat.
- Blister Prevention: I’ve got Dr. Frederick’s Original bandages to help prevent and treat blisters that might develop from all the walking.
- Refillable Water Bottles: I’ve packed collapsible water bottles from Vapur for each of us. They’re super convenient to carry around!
- Sunscreen: I use SOL LABS‘ natural mineral sunscreen to protect my skin from harmful sun rays.
- Insect Repellent: I’ll be carrying NATPAT Mosquito Patch Stickers to keep those pesky bugs away when we are in the park at night.
- Charging Devices & Cables: Since I’ll be using my phone for photos, the park app, and staying in touch, I’m bringing FuelRods to keep my phone charged on the go.
- Rain/Water Protection: Pack disposable ponchos and shoe covers to protect yourself from the weather and water features.
- Wet Wipes: You never know when you’ll need to wipe something clean, so I keep Wet Ones antibacterial wipes in my bag.
I hope that by carefully planning and packing these essential items, we can minimize stress and maximize our enjoyment at the theme park, creating priceless memories!
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
