In the past I’ve written about activity gyms. Bright Starts generously sent me one of their Develop your senses activity gym. I immediately liked the activity gym because of the colors alone – pastels are cute but it’s rare to find bright, engaging colors like this one has. I love it. The play may has lots of features to enhance baby’s development, such as a pillow to aid in tummy time, a mirror, a detachable mobile and more. The mobile detaches and can easily be attached to the handle of an infant car seat, to keep baby entertained while in the car as well. The mat is machine washable, and can be used without the overhanging bars, making it usable as just a play mat or blanket. The plastic rings fit well with most other types of hanging toys for mobiles or car seats, so you can swap toys in and out if baby gets bored. One of the rings comes with a teether attached. These are really great for little ones. Our daughter already has one for the baby when it gets here. Had to make my own activity center when ours were little.
