I remember when I was around 11 years old my friend had several of the Kidz Bop cd’s that had came out around that time. When I was that young I didn’t listen to much music that was played on the popular stations for teenagers so I wasn’t really aware of what music was cool and what wasn’t, but I remember thinking that my friend was cool because she had all the kidz bop cd’s. A couple of years ago when my little sister was five or six, she saw a kidz bop commercial while I was around and she mentioned wanting the cd’s. Unlike me, she has had an interest in popular music from a really young age, so I knew she would really enjoy the music on them because she likes the regular versions of the same songs. She owns a few of the kidz bop cd’s already so I knew she’d be excited to listen to the new one. Kidz Bop 20 is the most recently release and it includes several songs that are popular right now. They include
Born This Way
Till the World Ends
Forget You
Price Tag
Written In The Stars
On The Floor
The Lazy Song
Perfect
Tonight Tonight
More
The Story Of Us
Rocketeer
Who Says
Never Say Never
Whip My Hair
Rolling In The Deep
All of the songs are sung by children and variations of the song are made to avoid including swear words or other inappropriate words or phrases. Before she got her first kidz bop cd, I thought that my little sister might be a bit turned off of the songs if she realized that swear words are changed into other words, and the songs are sung by children. However, even for the songs that she knows word for word, it doesn’t bother her to learn the kidz bop version as well. These cd’s a great for parents who want to let their kids have freedom to choose what music they listen to, while sheltering them a bit from the inappropriate parts of popular songs.

My daughter wants this SO badly!
Sounds like fun. I will have to keep this in mind when my new granddaughter is old enough to enjoy it.
