Emily Reviews Holiday Gift Guide

The Mumoocie was developed when three Mom’s came together to create a product that would provide comfort for little ones
having problems sleeping. One of the Moms was have problems with her little one being afraid of monsters under the bed and losing sleep because of it. They created pillow that was safe for her to sleep with and left her feeling secure.

Mumoocie was designed to hold body heat and scents to sooth children. It is filled with memory foam to conform to your body. A soft, easily removable and washable cover encases the pillow.

When you order a Mumoocie, you can opt for a voice recorder that fits inside your pillow so you can record a little message for your loved one.

My girls both got some of my sleeping issues. Savannah (almost 5 years old) fights off sleep until she just drops. Cheyenne (2.5 years old) has always woken many times during the night but, most recently has added being afraid of the dark. I was very excited when Mumoocie
told me about their toddler pillow that could help little ones sleep better.

When our Mumoocie arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and design of the pillow. Cheyenne was really excited to test it out. Mumoocie suggested that my Husband and I sleep with the pillow for a night or two so that it would pick up our scents. It was very soft and easy to snuggle with. I had to remind myself that it was Cheyenne’s pillow.

After a few nights, I recorded a secret message for Cheyenne and tucked the Mumoocie in bed with her. She slept better than normal but, still not through the night. She loves this pillow; she takes it to bed with her each night and will carry it down stairs to snuggle with during the day.

My only disappointment is in the recorder. I think it’s a great idea but, I don’t think the recorder or locations are quite right. With the current design, it would be very difficult for a child to activate the recorder on their own. Cheyenne now knows the recorder is there and will unzip the cover so she can push the button (over and over) to make Mommy sound funny. Other than that, we like the Mumoocie.

I think the Mumoocie would be a special gift for children with parents that travel a lot or with parents in the military.
