Naturally Me was created by Chaundra Smith. Chaundra wanted a business that combined her two passions: helping others and natural products. An added benefit was that Chaundra was able to develop products that helped her own children and their skin issues…Issues that had not responded favorably to products already on the market. Chaundra started by developing soaps, body creams and candles and slowly branched out by adding other products including products for hair, babies’ delicate skin and unique needs of pets. For my review, I received the Sea Salt Scrub, All Over Butter, Soy Candle and Handmade Natural Soap.

As soon as the packaged arrived, I lit the Soy Candle and noticed right away that I could no longer smell the musty smells associated with Winter; like magic it was Spring in my house and everything smelled clean and refreshed.

The Sea Salt Scrub smelled so good that I could hardly wait to try it. At first, I was afraid it would make my skin feel dry because some scrubs I’ve used did have that affect on my skin. I was surprised when I rinsed the scrub off that my skin actually felt smooth. I even got daring and used the product on my face because I wanted to see if I broke out or felt any kind of stinging. Well, after my shower, I didn’t feel any stinging and I would know by morning, if I was going to break out.

After my shower, I gently dried off with a towel and then treated myself to the All Over Butter. Again, I ventured out of my comfort zone and put this on my face. As I was putting the lid on the jar, I noticed that the instructions said it was okay to use it in my hair! Once again, nothing ventured, nothing gained so I put a little dab on my palms and rubbed them together and then ran my hands thru my hair. Nothing looked or felt greasy but again, I would know more by morning.

In the morning, my complexion was clear and my hair was definitely not oily or greasy, in fact, all I had to do was brush it and use a little hairspray and viola, ready to go to work!

The next day, I tried the Handmade Natural Soap. I was intrigued by the chunks of Oatmeal in the soap. This too smelled really good, it had a light citrus scent. The oatmeal had a nice exfoliating property. The soap lathered well and rinsed off completely, no left behind residue; it left my skin feeling rejuvenated.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us.
