Gift registry’s can be a convenient way to make sure that the gift you’re purchasing is something that the recipient wants and will use. It’s also nice to feel assured that you won’t get them the same gift as another person. However, as a person who loves to support small businesses, it’s frustrating how most stores that offer registries are the large national brands.
Gift Caddie is a website that allows you to create a gift registry that lists items from any website on the internet. This way, if you have an item or two from 10 different stores, you don’t have to feel pressured to register at just one place. It allows for a wider range of gifts at different price points to be included in your list, because you don’t have to choose between whether to register at a high end store or a cheaper place. When giving gifts, I prefer to see items from a lot of different price points on the registry so I can decide how much I want to spend. It also allows you to send the list electrically by email or facebook so that you can easily get the list to friends or relatives who live far away.
