I’m not sure if it’s because I’m still young or if it’s just my personality, but I love cutsie stuff. A smiling cupcake bag or pizza shoe laces? Count me in! Apparel Dynasty is an online store with shoes (sneakers, flats and high heels), bags, shoe laces, posters and more that are covered in adorable stuff like bacon and eggs with faces or purple octopuses. I like a lot of the items at apparel dynasty but I decided to check out their happy mushroom wallet and party party makeup bag. They kindly sent along some scented shoelaces for me to check out as well.
The makeup bag is really cute and turned out to be a great size for me. When I wear makeup it typically consists of 2 concealers, a foundation, an eyeliner, a mascara and a lipgloss or lipstick. The image shown is of the bag containing two foundations, a kabuki brush, a concealer, eyeliner, mascara, eyebrow razor and four lip products. As you can see, it has room for way more items. One end of the bag has a looped handle so you can carry the bag around your wrist, or if you prefer to just grab the bag you can remove the strap all together.
I was a bit surprised at how large the wallet was. It’s taco shaped and the bottom is about one inch thick, though the top area is skinnier than the bottom. Each internal side wall has a rectangular pocket that is nicely sized for putting a drivers license or debit card sized cards. I use a pretty big purse and it takes up a lot of space in my purse. However, it’s large enough that you can easily carry all of your cards and a few small items like makeup or a cell phone. If you were making a quick trip out of the house, you could fill it up with necessities and leave your purse at home.
The last item I received was the white fortune cookie scratch and sniff shoelaces. Yes, you can really scratch these and they release a scent! I was surprised that the scent worked so well, it’s rather sweet but you have to put the laces right up to your nose to smell them. Unfortunately, they were too short to be able to lace regularly in my shoes but they are cute anyway.

That makeup bag look super cute! I had a really nice makeup bag from Target, but my stash of makeup grew and had to use a larger, less appealing makeup bag. Haha
