I think that photo gifts are great for lots of people on your list, but especially parents and grandparents. With digital cameras being so popular now, most of us take tons of pictures each month but many of us forget to print them off in any way. Mailpix is a website that allows you to just print off your digital photos if you want, or make them into gifts.
I think that photo canvases make awesome gifts for grandparents because they are just such a fun twist on flat photo prints. Mailpix has lots of sizes to choose from for photo canvases. My mother in law really likes to have personalized calendars made and Mailpix offers 3 different sizes of those to choose from too.
I was able to get a bunch of my photos printed off and was happy with the quality of almost all of the photos I printed. Some were cropped in ways that cut off important parts and I wish that they would have notified me that the photo had to be cropped and let me crop them instead of automatically cropping them for me but that was the only issue I had.
Right now you can get a free photo brag book (the code was emailed to me after I signed up for an account) that includes 20 pictures that are 4 by 6 and they are held together with a spiral binding. Basically these are just regular sized pictures that are easy to flip through because of the binding. My nephew Drew is 2 and he likes to look at pictures of people and places he recognizes and talk to people about them so I used this book to make a “book of Drew” with photos of some of his favorite toys, places and people. He likes to carry the book around telling stories about the different items. I think this is a neat tool for toddlers to encourage storytelling and just communication. These would also be neat for parents or grandparents to carry around in a purse or leave out on a coffee table to show their friends and family members photos of their kids or grandkids.
I also ordered some ornaments that were 50% off with a coupon code that I found as well. Mailpix has LOTS of coupon codes available and you can use several on a single order which I absolutely love. They also had a code going for 10 free 4X8 cards which was great so I ordered some Christmas cards. There are different deals going on now so be sure to check out their Deals page.

You’re right. Nowadays we have so many photos, but rarely print them out or use them to decorate. Thanks for sharing the mailpix site!

That looks great! It’s too bad about the cropping. I’ve been hearing a lot about this site and wondering about it so thanks for the review. It sounds like you were pleased overall so I’ll have to check them out.
