This week, flew by for me. Did it for you? I did pretty well on my Nutrisystem, although, I always feel like I could have/should have done more. I think that is just a personality trait of mine.
My measurements for this week, showed a loss of 0 in my upper arms, .5 in chest, 0 in waist, 0 in my hips, 0 in my thighs, a weekly total of .5 inches and an overall total of 26 inches. I also lost .4 pounds, bringing my overall total to 26.8 pounds in 16 weeks!
I haven’t really shared with you my thoughts on the Nutrisystem foods. As to be expected with anything, some of them I REALLY enjoy and a few others I would choose to not eat again. I LOVE the Nutrisystem protein drinks. They come in chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and coffee. They all taste great with chocolate being my favorite. I like to add fruit, yogurt, and/or peanut butter to my drink mix. It can really jazz-up a protein drink. (Don’t forget to count the items that you add in.)
Today I am sharing my recipe for a pumpkin pie Nutrisystem protein Drink. You can watch me make it in this video. I start with a Nutrisystem Vanilla Protein Drink mix add, water and ice per the packet instructions. Then I add a ½ cup of pumpkin puree and pie spices to taste…I like nutmeg and cinnamon. Blend your ingredients until smooth, serve and enjoy. This counts as a protein and a smart carb.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
