This week, I want to share with you some of my favorite breakfast foods. I don’t usually have much time for breakfast even though I know that it is really important and should not be skipped. For my convenience, I choose breakfast foods that are quick and easy to prepare. I really like Nutrisystem’s pastries, French toast, pancakes and bagels. There is very little preparation in these meals and they can all be enjoyed while I am on the go. With Nutrisystem, my breakfast is healthy, fast, and delicious!
My measurements for this week, showed a loss of 0 in my upper arms, .5 in chest, 1 in waist, .5 in my hips, 0 in my thighs, for a weekly total of 2 inches and an overall total of 28 inches. I also lost 2.2 pounds, bringing my overall weight loss total to 29 pounds in 17 weeks!
Part of my “job” as a product reviewer sometimes involves food and trying new products. Unfortunately, these food items are not always healthy. This week I was reviewing a lot of sweet treats. Even though they were delicious while I was trying them and I limited what I ate, after sampling a few of them I definitely didn’t feel very well. I think my body has officially adjusted to a new healthier menu. This was a nice reminder of why I am doing what I am doing. It also showed me that even if you have a bad day (or two) you can always start fresh the next day.
Today I want to share the Nutrisystem Quick n’ Crunchy Yogurt Parfait recipe.
Ingredients-
1 pkg Nutrisystem Granola Cereal
1 packet sugar free sweetener
¼ tsp. vanilla extract
8 oz. fat free plain yogurt
1 medium apple or fruit of your choice chopped
Directions-
1. In a medium bowl, blend the vanilla flavoring and sweetener into the yogurt.
2. Add the apples and cereal.
3. Stir well to combine.
*I like this recipe without the packet of sugar-free sweetener.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
