This week has been an interesting week. We started off the week celebrating my oldest Daughter’s birthday. The next day my youngest Daughter came down with a stomach bug. Then my oldest came down with it and then it was my turn. Luckily for us, it has only lasted 2-3 days. It’s Friday now, and we are all feeling better.

I don’t know about you, but when I don’t feel well or am taking care of someone who doesn’t feel well, the last thing I want to do is cook. It was such a blessing early in the week to be able to grab a healthy and properly portioned Nutrisystem meal, heat it and eat it.

This week, my measurements show a loss of 0 in my upper arms, 0 in chest, 0 in waist, .5 in my hips, 0 in my thighs, for a weekly total of .5 inch and an overall total of 31.5 inches. I also lost 2.2 pounds bringing my weight loss total to 37.2 pounds in twenty four weeks.

The weather has been really nice in Oregon the last few days. I think our forecast guestimates another 3-4 more days of nice weather. I am going to try to get outside for my exercises. I plan to take a couple family walks this weekend and maybe a hike around  my In-Law’s property during Super Bowl half time.

This week, I am sharing my Nutrisystem orange Julius protein drink recipe. You can watch me make it in this video.

  • I am glad you were able to eat quickly while taking care of your children and yourself! It would be great if the weather were good here! I’ve been running in snow for a few weeks now. It does feel good to be outside though!! Hope you enjoy the Superbowl!
