In a few weeks, we will be flying cross-country for my Grandmother-In-Law’s 90^th birthday party. This will be our first big trip as a family. Several of my friends who have flown with young kids, suggest packing lots of snacks and activities to help pass the time. So, for the last couple weeks, I have been collecting items that I thought would work well for our trip.

My Daughters (ages 6 and almost 4) LOVE arts and crafts projects. I knew that if I could find a kit that would travel well, it would be a huge hit with them. I contacted Orb Factory and they came to my rescue with SparkleUps. For our review, we received SparkleUps kits- kitten and unicorn.

SparkleUps are jewel-by-number kits. Simply match the colored jewel to its numbered spot on the picture sticker. Once your masterpiece is completed, picture stickers can then be placed on frames, lockers, mirrors, notebooks, water bottles and more. When you are ready for a change, the picture stickers can be repositioned.

When the SparkleUps kits arrived, I told the girls we had a new arts and crafts project. They were ecstatic and couldn’t wait to start. I thought they would do one or two of the activities and then want to move on but they couldn’t stop. They did their entire kit, 7-8 picture stickers, in one sitting. They both chose to apply their picture stickers to their water bottles.

The suggested age on SparkleUps is four years and older. I think this is perfect. My almost four year old was challenged in matching numbers and colors but not overwhelmed. My 6 year old had a blast!
