Natures Golden Era launched in 2007 for the creator’s (a fashion model) personal use during her pregnancy and eventually became available to the public in 2011. Their products are 100% natural and chemical free and can brag that some of their clientele are well known celebrities (Eva Longoria) to mention one.
For my review, I received the Natures Golden Era White Chocolate Dark Spot Eraser (for face and neck) and the Natures Golden Era Luscious Lavender Face Soufflé (face and neck).
The first thing I noticed was the amazing scent that appeared magically when I opened the containers. Not overpowering by any means, just pleasantly noticeable.
The next positive feature that met with my approval was how easy the “butter” softened when I ran my fingertips over it. There was no “digging” and scraping involved. I simply let my fingers glide over the product and then I applied it to my face and neck. I didn’t get too much, nor did I feel like the process was going to take a long time because the product wasn’t pliable.
At first I was a little worried that my skin might feel oily later on in the day (because I tend to have oily skin anyway), but that never happened. I also didn’t notice that the face soufflé had any affect on my makeup. Sometimes moisturizers will cause my foundation to slightly change in color or it sometimes causes my foundation to “run” off my face or give me badger eyes because my mascara rubs off. Neither of these negative side affects happened either.
The White Chocolate Dark Spot Eraser is something I use on a couple of “age” spots that I have on my face near my eyes. I’m looking forward to seeing these spots lighten up over time.
