Yabbly

My top source of traffic is google – Lots of you have found my blog at some point or another by searching for reviews of some product or another. We all want to spend our money on the right product the first time so that we don’t waste money, or time. Getting advice or information from other consumers can be incredibly beneficial when it comes to making purchasing decisions.

Yabbly is a website that allows you to ask specific, detailed questions about the product or product category you’re considering purchasing in. For example, if you’re in the market for a car seat for your three year old who is currently in the “I can do it myself!” stage, you can go to Yabbly to ask “What 5 point harness car seats out there have a high weight limit and are easy to buckle?” and get product recommendations from others. If you’ve already researched a bit further, you could instead ask “I’m debating between these two car seats. If you’ve tried them both – which do you prefer and why?” to get advice from people who have tried both and can give advice for your specific situation instead of just car seat advice in general like you’d find on most other websites. Then, once people begin to answer your question, you can reply back and have a two way conversation until you’re completely satisfied.

Your questions don’t have to be product related, they can also be service related, such as “What is the best restaurant in Chicago?” or “Which hotel should I stay in in Toledo?”

When you sign up, you can edit your profile to show your interests (Such as I’m interested in Travel and Family topics but not Auto or Food) and then you’ll only see the product types that you selected as an interest, so you don’t have to worry about being bogged down by topics that don’t interest you. I love websites that are customized to me individually.

I love to win things, so I would definitely leave the “perk” interest checked on my profile. What are Yabbly Perks? For example, one perk currently posted is where a few winners will get 5 pints of ice cream. To try to win, you have to tell a story related to ice cream. Not an ice cream fan? Other past perks have included prizes such as home cooked gourmet meals, speaker systems and more!
