We don’t have any pet stores in my town so I’m thankful that there are online pet stores like Mojo Pet that I can order from and have things delivered to me instead, seems how its really hard to find natural pet products at grocery stores and my dogs seem to be allergic to grains which are in most non-natural dog foods and treats.
Mojo Pet has lots of natural dog treats and chews like bones, bully sticks, pig ears and more. They also have dog toys, collars and leashes, a DNA test, shampoo and other grooming products for dogs. That doesn’t even get into their cat selection! Off of the top of my head, I can’t think of anything that I would need for my dogs that I could get at Mojo Pet.
I was able to check out an assortment of products that are sold at Mojo Pet and I was happy with the quality of everything.
My dogs tend to be intimidated by larger toys, so they Kyjen snake scared them but I thought it was neat. Each section of the snake has a squeaker and the squeaker makes a noise that is unique from most other dog toys. I’ve owned other Kyjen toys for the dogs that they absolutely love and that are made really well. If you have a medium to large size dog, I bet the snake would be a hit for you. We really like the Kong Wubba (we were sent a size small) that they like to run after when thrown. The outer fabric is really heavy duty so it won’t easily be punctured. Aside from getting a bit dirty, ours still looks brand new even though we’ve had it for over a month.
The only other non-treat that we were sent is a Kong. My dogs are older but still like to chew, but they didn’t care to chew on the kong. They love having it filled with kibble, canned food or juts about anything else and then having to lick it out or throw the kong around until the food falls out.
We were also sent Fruitables which are fruit based dog treat 100% all natural, all human grade treats made and sourced in the USA. At first glance, they seem like a decent deal for such a natural treat ($4.99 for a 7oz bag) but I was really surprised how long these lasted! There are a lot of treats in a bag, they are just lightweight which makes them seem more expensive. My dogs loved them and they smelled good even to me. I’ll definitely continue to buy these.
Mojo Pet also offers Real Chews chicken jerky treats that are made in the USA. After recent chicken jerky recalls as the result of pets being sick and even dying, it’s great to find USA made options that aren’t affected. My dogs absolutely love this jerky, we’ve been able to use it as a special treat for when they get their nails trimmed (which they hate) by having it held out to distract them while a nail is clipped and then giving them a bite size piece between each nail to keep them calm. There are lots of strips in the bag, its truly packed full and they are easy to break into smaller pieces if you want. This is just one of the natural chicken jerky varieties available. The BigBark Sweet Potato chews that we were sent are really neat too. They are made of 100% naturally dehydrated sweet poatoes, making them a great option for allergy dogs like mine. They come in a resealable bag and can last for six months or more if refrigerated. They’re also made and processed in the USA.
We were sent samples of Petchup and Muttstard (Beef and turkey flavoring) which has two purposes, really. They are prebiotics and Omega 3, 6 & 9 250mg of glucosamine which is found naturally in dogs bodies but can be added to their diet to help their body form and repair tissue such as cartilage. It also is flavored in a way that dogs like and is liquid so it can be added to kibble or medication to make your dogs want to eat it. I’ve used it to convince my dogs to try new kibble and to get them to eat canned pumpkin (that I give them to aid their digestion) and it worked great.
We were also sent regular and twisted bully sticks from the Big Bark brand sold at Mojo Pet. My dogs love bully sticks but we had never tried twisted ones before. These are basically two bully sticks twisted together, whch makes the bully stick a unique shape and makes the sticks a bit longer to chew on. We’ve tried bully sticks from several places but Frank just went crazy for the twisted bully sticks from Mojo Pet. They did seem a bit flatter instead of as round, had a lighter shade to them and was 9″ long here as we usually buy 6 inch long ones. I’m not sure if those were the reasons or if it tasted better or what but he was really digging the twisted bully sticks. They also didn’t seem to get as “gooey” as other varieties of bully sticks that we’ve tried.
The Buff Bites buffalo marrow bone is my dogs favorite bone to date It’s a 6″ bone that is made from grass fed free range bison and are full of marrow that m dogs just go crazy for. They have yet to get tired of this bone because they haven’t gotten the marrow out or pieces off of the outside yet where as other bones they usually get the meat and marrow out within a day at most.
Last but not least, we were sent four toobles which are beef trachea. I’ve heard great things about beef trachea making great chews for dogs but we hadn’t tried them. My dogs didn’t take to them (I think they may have been intimidated by their size as the are 8-9 inches long and big around) but my brother’s labs loved them. They are a natural source of glucosamine and chondroitin.
Overall we were really pleased with the quality of all of the items that we were sent from Mojo Pet. The business is family owned and operated and is located in Colorado. Despite being a small business, they accept paypal which makes checkout super easy. They’ve been in business since 2004 and just based on how everything I got was such high quality, its obvious to me that they really care about the products they sell and select products that they can truly stand behind. If you’re looking for quality products for your dog, I definitely recommend giving them a try.

I think the sweet potato chews would be a winner. My dog’s teeth weren’t that strong to wrestle around with that Kong!
