The next time that you are too tired to cook (anyone else feeling the pressure of the holiday season?) consider checking out your local Pei Wei asian diner. They use lots of fresh ingredients and their menu items are made to order so you can pick and choose which incredients go in your dish. As a picky eater, I love that I can customize the offerings to my liking. They offer both dine in and carry out options. Their dine in setting is really casual and lively, making it a fun but relaxing place to grab a bite to eat.
Pei Wei recently came out with a Sriracha Pineapple Pork Lettuce Wrap which includes seared pork, plus fresh fruits 7 veggies including pineapple, red onions, red and green peppers. Then, everything is topped with sriracha sauce and of course, placed into lettuce cups. Doesn’t that sound incredible? I can’t wait to try it.
I follow a vlogger on youtube that raves about how good Pei Wei’s traditional chicken, thai chicken and korean steak lettuce wraps are so it’s cool to see them adding a forth lettuce wrap option. It sounds (and looks!) so good. I’ve never been inside a Pei Wei, but the atmosphere sounds busy and fun – I can see it being a fun place to meet up with a friend.
