Meat jerky makes a great, protein filled snack that lots of people are fond of. There are lots of different types of jerky, however Perky Jerky is a really unique brand of jerky. Their jerky is all natural, and contains guarana, a natural energy booster. You get a yummy snack, as well as an energy boost! I was very happy to be able to try out some Perky Jerky.

I received Perky Jerky in beef in Original, Sweet & Spicy, Teriyaki, and Hot & Bothered, and well as Perky Jerky Turkey in the same flavors.

I personally am a vegetarian, so I did not try these products. However, my fiancé, friends and family did. Everyone who tried the Perky Jerky absolutely loved it. It got devoured very quickly. Our bags of Perky Jerky did not last long at all!

As I mentioned, Perky Jerky has Guarana in it, which is a natural berry found in many energy drinks. It gives you a nice energy boost. My fiancé definitely noticed the energy boost when he’d eat them, and really liked that added “perk”. It’s a great afternoon or morning snack, and it’s perfect for road trips!

Perky Jerky is all natural, low calorie, low fat, low carb, and high in protein. All of their flavors except for the Original flavor are gluten-free. And their Perky Jerky Turkey has no fat at all! Their jerkys also do not contain preservatives, nitrites, or added MSG.

Perky Jerky comes in beef or turkey. Both have great flavor, but definitely do taste different. My fiancé liked the beef jerky Perky Jerky better, and thought the turkey was a little more chewy, but my younger sister liked the turkey jerky better, so it seems like it all just comes down to your own personal taste.

My fiancé liked the Hot and Bothered Perky Jerky in Beef the best. It was his favorite flavor. It wasn’t super spicy, so it didn’t burn your mouth, and eliminate the meat flavor, but it had a nice spicy kick that he really enjoyed.

Overall, my fiancé really liked the Perky Jerky, and would definitely purchase it. He was very sad when we ran out of them! If you’re looking for a healthy protein filled snack, with an energy kick, you should definitely try some Perky Jerky!
