My daughter’s boyfriend recently made the brave decision to enlist in the Army National Guard. We are very proud of him! Although we can’t send him care packages right now, I’ve been thinking about all the little things that could brighten his days and provide some comfort.
By sending care packages, you are not just sending items; you are sending a message of love and support. They mean so much – not just to those who receive them, but also to the ones who send them. They help keep connections strong, even when loved ones are far apart. Your support is invaluable and integral to the well-being of our service members.

To spread some joy and support, I’ve compiled a heartfelt list of items that can lift the spirits of those on active duty. It includes a delightful mix of comfort snacks, hygiene essentials, fun entertainment options, and practical gear, all designed to bring him a little piece of home while he serves.
The following is a list of items that would be a great addition to a care package. I would love to hear your thoughts and any additional ideas you may have!

In a world where we often feel disconnected from those we care about, these thoughtful gifts remind us of the power of love and connection.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone with a loved one serving! Your sacrifices, including those made behind the scenes, are not unnoticed. They play a vital role in protecting our freedom and deserve our most profound appreciation.
**Disclaimer:** It’s important to note that I have not had a family member or friend serve in the military. Based on my research, the following items should generally be acceptable to send. However, I recommend verifying with your loved one to ensure they align with any specific regulations or personal preferences they may have. There is a possibility I could be mistaken.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I love these ideas! You can also get the Cooper Street Granola Bakes in Banana Bread but so far I have only found that at QVC. Once I heard that a good item for care packages would be Kool-Aid but electrolytes are probably better. Thanks for the recommendations!

A great way to give to thoes who give so much. I like the idea of beef sticks nad playing cards.
