I received products from Educational Insights. All opinions are my own.
I went a bit overboard with my daughters’ Easter baskets this year. I don’t like giving them a bunch of sugar treats so I try to fill their baskets with things they need, can use, and will enjoy. Adding Educational Insights to their basket was a no-brainer. Educational Insights toys are fun and educational!

Recently both of my daughters have become interested in science. They just completed a special day of science school brought to us by OMSI. The girls and my husband took four classes that taught them about insects, magnets, floating objects, crime detective work and more. They had a really good time and learned a lot.

Educational Insights has a line of products called Nancy B’s Science Club. They currently offer five different scientific tools for you to choose from. Each product comes with an activity journal to help you gather facts, analyze data, record your findings and state your hypothesis. Nancy B’s Science Club products received several Parents’ Choice Awards, in 2013.

We received the Nancy B’s Science Club Binoculars and Wildlife Activity Journal set and a Nancy B’s Science Club Crime Solver Scope and Forensic Activity Journal kit.

I have played with both the binoculars and scope. They are a lot of fun and work well. I am particularly fond of both journals. I love how they ask questions and encourage the use of a child’s imagination. The girls are going to love these!

One of the things I love most about Educational Insights is that they take “normal” items and make them fun to use. The kids are playing while they learn and I think that is pretty darn cool!

Don’t forget, Easter is on April 20th. Educational Insights has several items that would be perfect Easter basket stuffers; you can find them on their website. You may also connect with Educational Insights on their facebook, twitter and pinterest.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

What a great idea for an Easter Basket–so not into all that candy at all-these binoculars would go over great with my little guy

Thank you for the great suggestions – I’m always looking for non-candy “treats” for our Easter basket. These are going to be a great addition. I wonder if my son would share the crime solver scope with me?!

I love Educational Insights and get their emails regularly. I have a kid’s telescope and want to get the binoculars. They are great for getting kids excited about science job paths.

My oldest would love the Binocular kit. I will have to check it out. Thanks for sharing.
