Mother’s day is in less than two weeks! Have you decided what to get your mom yet? If not, Best Buy has tons of products that will make great mother’s day gifts. They have even put together a gift center to help you find the right gift for your mom based on her personality or hobbies. You can browse by all personality types or choose between the entertainer, the foodie, the fitness fanatic, the adventurer, or the on-the-go mom.
I love getting new food related gadgets as gifts so I looked at the Best Buy Foodie Gifts section to see what suggestions they had. If I were buying myself a gift from this category, I’d have a really hard time choosing. The foodie gift guide includes the Hamilton Beach set & forget stay or go 6 quart slow cooker, which would probably be my top pick. It’s bigger than my current slow cooker so I could make enough for dinner with leftovers as well. It can be used in several modes. You can turn it on and leave it on until you manually turn it off, or you can set it to cook for a set amount of time and then switch to warm to keep it ready-to-eat whenever you’re ready, or it can even be put in ‘probe’ mode which cooks the food until it reaches a certain internal temperature so you can be sure that your food has been thoroughly cooked. This slow cooker would be a huge upgrade for me so I would love it. However, several of the other gifts caught my eye too. Several of the other gift ideas in the guide are products that I have heard food-lovers rave about such as the ninja blender, Keurig coffee maker, and Kitchenaid mixer. I also discovered a few products I hadn’t heard of such as the Dash greek yogurt maker which would be an awesome, unique gift for foodies. Most items valued at $25 or more will ship for free!

Thank you for the great Mother’s Day tips! I love cooking with a crockpot/slow cooker. It’s so nice to throw everything into the slow cooker, go out all day, and then return to an amazing home-cooked meal. I know from personal experience that a slow cooker would be a great gift for a mom.

I am getting an early start on Mom’s Day gift shopping this year. I love my yogurt maker and wish I could get my mom to eat it. I would so love to gift her a yogurt maker–maybe my sis would love one.
I’m excited about Mother’s Day because my husband and son have me intrigued. They told me that they have a big surprise, but won’t give any hints!
