I haven’t had children yet, so I haven’t experienced athletic leaks myself but I have friends who have sort of whispered to me about it. I know that it is a really common problem for women and one that women are often reluctant to talk about. Today I am sharing Brooke Solis’ story in hopes that it will help some of my readers going through the same thing.

Brooke had three children, and then twins for a total of five kids. After giving birth to her twins, she was determined that she was going to get back into shape. With 5 kids to care for, she needed to do high impact workouts when she could instead of doing longer, less powerful workouts. Yet, she found that she struggled with athletic leaks when she tried to perform higher impact exercises. She tried wearing incontinence pads during her workouts, but they were big and bulky and made her self conscious, especially in athletic clothing. She kept worrying that others could see the pad building under her clothing.

Did you know that it is estimated that 25 million women struggle with athletic incontinence? It is not just a problem for new mothers, either. Even high school athletes can have athletic leaks. Brooke wasn’t happy with the products available on the market to help combat the problem so she decided to design her own solution. Her goal was to create a pad that was inconspicuous even under form fitting, athletic clothing that was comfortable and of course, absorbent. She named her brand JustGoGirl because she wanted women to use the products so that they can just get up and go. Instead of being shaped like traditional incontinence pads or feminine pads, JustGoGirl pads are shaped so that they taper so that they more closely fit your body shape and don’t bulge out in the corner areas.

Want to test out JustGoGirl pads for yourself? You can apply for a sample pack of 2 pads to be sent to you to test out before you buy.

I was glad they still offered a trial pack this year also. It’s shaped really different from others I’ve seen. There’s many other reasons why someone would need these other than having kids, so glad they offer so many choices.
