It’s always interesting for me to see which products catch and hold a baby’s attention. I’ve owned a few toys in the past from the Lamaze brands that have become favorites for the kids in my life. Their Huey The Hedgehog toy was a favorite of my niece for several months. I really like their cloth books for babies from about four months on. I so strongly believe that books should be a part of a child’s life from birth. Yet, from about 4-10 months or so, baby’s arm and hand movements can still be sort of jerky in movement. I’ve seen so many babies excitedly grab onto a hard toy or book and then get excited and their arms flail around and they hit themselves or someone else with it on accident. The Lamaze soft books are a great alternative.
