I have been fortunate to be able to breastfeed both my daugthers with very minimal bumps along the road. I am very grateful to have been able to breastfeed for such a long time (basically almost 3 years, with only a few weeks of ‘rest’ between Baby 1 and Baby 2). There are a few things that made this journey easier for me: a supportive husband, access to trained specialists if I needed to, the right accessories including nursing covers and nursing pads. One of the most important things to make breastfeeding easy and comfortable is definitely getting the right nursing bra.

I’ve tried many over the years. Some that were stretchy, some that were 100% cotton, some that had lace, in many different styles and colors. Some I really liked, others that were just okay to get the job done. The fact is it’s not easy to find the proper bra, let alone the proper nursing bra so it makes sense to look for experts, that know what breastfeeding entails and can support you along the way.

Nursing Bra Express is all that. It’s a great resource for carefully picked nursing bras and accessories but it also has a wealth of information and advice on breastfeeding. This advice is provided by a certified lactation consultant who dispells some myths around breastfeeding, talks about common problems, and of course provides tips on how to find the perfect nursing bra.

It definitely doesn’t feel like a typical webstore where they just want you to buy stuff and don’t really care about your experience and your satisfaction. They want to become a one-stop solution for all your breastfeeding related needs. This is also reflected in the selection of bras and accessories they offer.

They have bras from cup size A to M and offer virtually any style you want including soft cup, underwire, cotton, microfiber, pretty, simple, exotic, and more! If you’re overwhelmed by all the possibilites, don’t hesitate to contact them. They really know their products and can steer you in the right direction.

For the purpose of this review, they offered to send me two very different bras to showcase the variety of products they offer. I received a Seamless Comfort Bra in nude and a Lace Cup Padded Underwire Bra in nude with black lace. Both bras are from the same brand: QT, which I had never heard of before.

The Seamless Comfort Bra is made of soft and stretchy Nylon/Spandex and feels great! It would be perfect for a new mom whose breast size is likely to change quite a bit in the first few weeks and months of nursing. The band is wide and stays in place well. I also like that it comes with removable pads which make the bra more comfortable but provide more discreet coverage of the nipples. It’s also perfect under a t-shirt and would be ideal for moms who need or want to wear a bra at night. Contrary to other stretchy bras, this one actually has a typical hook and eye closure which I find a lot more practical.

The Lace Cup Padded Underwise Bra is absolutely gorgeous! I couldn’t believe how affordable it is compared to other non-nursing lace-covered bras. I might just have to buy a few more to continue to wear them even after my nursing days are long gone. This bra has a sexy flair that is definitely welcome, especially when you feel like you haven’t slept in weeks and can’t fit into any of your clothes. I love how the molded cups and underwire create a nice silhouette!
