The Super Run is coming to Lansing, Michigan September 27th, at Hawk Island Park. It’s a really unique event that is great for pro-runners, to beginners and even kids. The Super Runs are super-hero themed (so you can wear your cape to the run!) and those who participate in the run are called Heroes because the run will benefit a variety of charities. Check out the Super Run Charities page to see which charities are included.
If you want to participate with your kids, there is the 1k and 5k “fun runs” which are perfect for families. There are also games for kids and giveaways will go on so you have a chance to win some cool prizes.
Participating in the 1k event is just $10 no matter when you sign up. The 5k event is $25 if you sign up now or $30 if you pay the day-of.
Do you plan to go to the Super Run? How do you stay active as a family?
Hi there! I am Emily Evert, the owner of Emily Reviews. I am 28 and live in a small town in Michigan with my boyfriend Ryan and our two pugs. I have a large family and I adore my nieces and nephews. I love fun runs and charity runs and really need to find one this month to celebrate my birthday. It’s usually not too chilly around this time in SoCal and it’s a great way to celebrate the holidays and birthday, and do something healthy.
