Today is the first day it really feels like fall in Oregon. It has been a goodie bag of weather today- off and on pouring rain, windy, overcast and a few spots of sunshine. It’s the perfect day for cozy fall apparel.

I recently had the opportunity to get some new fall clothing from Kohl’s. I went shopping with the hopes of finding a floral print sweatshirt. What? Yes, floral prints are rather popular right now. They are being featured in trendy graphics, not like grandma’s table cloth. I also wanted to find a pair of boyfriend jeans. I love this current trend of wearing boyfriend jeans with booties.

When I first arrived at Kohl’s I found a Romantic Rebel Floral “Hello” Crop Tee. They call this a tee but I would call it a light sweatshirt. It is perfect for layering with a tank top and a vest.

Next I found a SONOMA life + style® Colorblock Raglan Sweater. I thought this would be another great layering piece. I chose the gray fox heather sweater because I thought it would be a good neutral color to go with bright colored/patterned vests. Can you tell I like vests?

Finally I was on to the jean department. I walked around and around making sure I found exactly what I wanted. I decided on two pairs of SONOMA life + style® Faded Boyfriend Jeans, one in medium tint color and the other in medium wash. I like that they jeans have the faded look but aren’t really distressed. This makes it easier for me to wear them in a business casual situation.

Once I got home, I paired the Romantic Rebel Floral “Hello” Crop Tee with, black tank top, medium wash SONOMA life + style® Faded Boyfriend Jeans and brown booties. Then I put the SONOMA life + style® Colorblock Raglan Sweater with an orchid vest, medium tint of SONOMA life + style® Faded Boyfriend Jeans and black booties. I think both of these are cute, comfortable and easy go-to fall outfits.
