Christmas will be here before we know it. I have many gadget lovers in my family so I always keep an eye on Best Buy for new technology and deals on gadgets. In the past I’ve purchased cameras and a hard drive at Best Buy on black friday because they had the best deals I could find on the items I wanted. There is a new line of GoPro action cameras available at Best Buy, plus some new accessories. The line includes three cameras.
The GoPro HERO4 Black is the most advanced GoPro ever (making it a great upgrade for people who currently have an older GoPro). It has improved image quality with a processor that is 2x as powerful and has frame rates that are 2x as fast.
The GoPro HERO4 Silver is the first ever GoPro with a built in touch display. It captures 1080p60 and 720p120 video, takes 12MP photos and has 30 frames per second. It’s a great combination of a powerful camera mixed with the convenience of a touch screen.
The GoPro HERO shoots 1080p30 and 720p60 video with 5MP photos and up to 5 frames per second. It has a 12x more powerful processor with 2x faster video frame rates.

These cameras would make great gifts for active kids, instagram or vine users, athletes and youtubers. They’re also great for those who just live an active lifestyle and want to capture life as they live it. If you ski, snowboard, bike, run, go to amusement parks, swim, etc and find yourself only capturing memories in front of the business sign or with the statues, a GoPro will let you capture these memories as you’re making them because it keeps up with the action.
