It’s hard for me to believe that my little sister will be 11.5 this Christmas. She’s not in middle school and the kids at her school have all kinds of opinions about what is and isn’t cool. I think it’s cool how it’s currently “cool” to wear fitness apparel brands and to be active. I try to keep a close eye on her thoughts, views and opinions of health and wellness and of herself in general. However, for now it seems like she thinks that it’s cool to be active and wear activewear items. She is particularly interested in the Under-Armour brand.
I recently found the SIX:02 online retailer that offers activewear items like exercise clothing and accessories. They carry brands like Under Armour, Nike and Adidas. I did a quick search for Under Armour on the SIX:02 site and four pages of results turned up. With it being cold here in Michigan, I thought a hoodie would be great for my sister. I went with the Under Armour Cold Gear Big Logo Applique Hoodie which is available in a few colors and sizes. It’s fleece inside to keep your warm and cozy and has a quick-dry outer layer to keep you dry. The Under Armor “cold gear” line items are designed for weather from 0-55 degrees which is perfect for my tween sister who hates wearing coats or jackets. If she refuses to wear a coat, at least I’ll feel better knowing she’s a bit warmer in this sweater than she would be in one of her other sweaters because it’s designed for the cold. I also appreciate the attention to detail like the overlapping neckline and slim “hidden” kangaroo pocket that make the hoodie fit closer to the body and have a less bulky appearance and feeling overall.
I also got her two headbands from SIX:02. They have the Under Armour Run Off Headband that comes in black and blue. It’s designed to be reflective so you’ll stand out if you’re outside when it’s dark but the headbands are also so cute that I know my sister will wear them just for looks as well. They have elastic in the center of the back so they adjust to different head sizes and a strip along the inside of the front helps them grip your head/hair so they don’t slide around even if you sweat.
If you have a fitness lover on your list but you aren’t sure what type of activewear they are currently in need of or you are worried about ordering the wrong size, you can get them an email gift card (Sent electronically) or a physical SIX:02 gift card (that they can use online, on a phone/tablet or in store). You can have the gift card created in any amount from $10-$500 so they’ll be sure to fit perfectly into your budget.
Do you have a fitness lover on your Christmas list? What items from SIX: 02 would they like to get this year?

I’ve not heard of this company but am due for some new workout wear. I like the Nike accessories and have always had good luck with them lasting so I’d go for that brand.
