During the winter holiday season, I find myself thinking about others more than usual. I hear great charity campaigns so much more as well. Ryan & I always choose two charities to donate to each December – I pick one and he another. I often find myself wishing we had more funds so that we could do more to help others.

I sometimes see brands or businesses willing to make donations on behalf of others. I keep an eye out for these campaigns because it gives me the ability to help others without having to spend money on my own.

The UPS charity campaign #WishesDelivered caught my eye because they are making $1 donations on behalf of anyone who makes a tweet (or instagram post) that is sent out with the hashtag #WishesDelivered. They will be donating up to $100,000 total and the money will go to three charities – toys for tots, the salvation army and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In addition to the hashtag, your social share should include your personal wish for someone else. The wishes should be meaningful and selfless. If you prefer, you can visit the #WishesDelivered site to submit your wish manually.

I submitted my own wishes delivered tweet with my wish being that my cousin will be successful in getting her adoption request approved. She has been working through the legal process and it’s been very long and stressful. I know how wonderful it would be for her to have this dream of hers come true.

What is your wish? Be sure to share it on instagram or twitter with the hashtag #WishesDelivered to help those in need!
