Wondrous Ink personalized children's book

*I was provided with two Wondrous Ink books in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

I love giving children books as gifts. For my nieces and nephews on their birthdays and Christmas I almost always give a toy and a book. I always seek out a book that I feel the child has a personal connection to and interest in. I have two nephews who will be starting Kindergarten this fall – Gabe who is 5 and Drew who is 4. Drew is in preschool and recognizes his name wherever it is written so he now gets excited anytime he sees an envelope with Drew on it. I had personalized books created for Drew in the past, but they were made before he was aware of his name so I thought it would be fun to get him a new one now that he visibly recognizes his name.

Gabe just turned 5 about a month ago, so I thought he was at a great age for the book as well. Wondrous Ink lets you choose between a boy or a girl character, plus the book has the child’s name included throughout the book. There is also a dedication page that you can personalize. The book is recommended for ages 2-8 but I think it will be the most fun for children in the 3-6 age range where they’re interested in learning letters and their name.

Some pages feature the child’s entire name, while others focus on a specific letter of the child’s name – so Drew’s book has a D on one page, an R on another, E on a third and W on a fourth, while Gabe’s book included pages that focused on G, a, b and e.

The book ends with a special code that can be used on the WondrousInk website to ‘unlock’ additional features, which will be fun for kids who are old enough to appreciate using computers.

Wondrous Ink personalized books are $39.99 and take about two weeks from the order date until the book will arrive on your doorstep.

I have a precious niece who is a gifted child and her mommy wanted desperately to have her daughters name in her own special book. I would really love to win this for her. Thank you.

  • I have a 2 year old great granddaughter that is into books now. She would love this personalized book made just for her.

I loved the idea of having a personalized book for my kindergsrten daughter.
I ordered mine and it was supposed to arrive before Christmas. I sent an email and message over Facebook. They didn’t answer. There are lots of complains from people that also didn’t receive their books or didn’t have theirs emails answered.
Such a shame. Don’t recommend this company. I don’t have the book or the money (we have to pay up front).

I have a 4 year old grand-daughter who just loves books. She is always sitting on my lap wanting more stories. So I thought, what a great idea to have a story about her. I researched many personalized book sites and came across Wonderous Ink. I was immediately impressed with the story! I personalized the book and wrote a inscription to include on the first page. However, when I created the book and ordered it, the inscription was not in the preview. I went to the “live chat”, left a message, and within minutes I got a response. No problem…the rep asked me to send her my inscription, via e-mail, and she would make sure it got included. Again, within minutes I received an e-mail stated that the book has gone to print. 4, maybe 5 days later, I received the book and it is perfect!! I cannot wait for my grand-daughter to read about her wonderful adventure!! 5 stars for sure!
