I love swimming in a pool that looks and feels as clean as possible. It’s important to me that we keep the pool clean when we are using it, but I don’t want to spend a ton of time cleaning and prepping my pool each day if I don’t have to. My ultimate goal is to keep the pool as clean as possible without wasting more of my time on upkeep than I have to.

When I  first got a pool it was confusing to know where to start on working to get the water clear, balanced and algae free it can be confusing. HTH Pool Care makes a four-step program that makes it quick and easy to get your pool in tip-top shape in a small amount of time so we can spend our time doing fun things like swimming with your family.

The steps include 1) Testing and Balance. 2) Sanitize. 3) Shock. 4) Prevent algae.

To prepare for a small family party, I used all four steps from the HTH® 4-step program to get the pool water from “okay” to great. Before I got started the water was fairly clean looking but wasn’t completely clear (I couldn’t see the bottom of the pool very well) and the bottom had a bit of build up.

After the four steps, the pool was free from build up on the bottom and was clear. I could see the pattern on the bottom of my pool.

I’m far from a pool expert – I have attempted to use pool chemicals in the past that have actually made my water look or feel worse than when I started. I love how simple the HTH® Pool Care system is because it is easy to follow and doesn’t leave me guessing on what to add or when.

If you want to give the 4-step HTH® program a try, you can find HTH pool care products at several retailers including Walmart, Meijer, Home Depot, Costco and others. Follow the HTH Blog or HTH Pool Facebook Page to learn more.

I don’t have a pool but the care of one has always looked so complex. Glad there are products out there that can help.

timely post! An old co-worker just bought a house with an indoor pool in it. From what I understand, it needs quite a bit of cleaning. I’ll pass this program along to her though for future maintenance !

We had a pool for many years and it was a lot of work to me,to keep the pool always looking clear and clean. I for sure wish we had this we were looking for help! Thanks for the info!!

It does sound like a lot of work but a kit would be the way to go rather than an expensive pool person coming over, I would think. Good thing they sell it at affordable, convenient places like Walmart.

this is good info I keep forgetting that a pool can be a lot of work, but if you keep right up to it not so bad, esp when you have ppl who want the pool get togethers!!
