Thank you to Melamine Kitchen for providing me with product in exchange for review purposes. All opinions belong to me.
Melamine Kitchen is a company founded by Elena. She was the brains behind finding a choice for dinnerware that wouldn’t break, was lightweight, was easy to clean and of course affordable. She could find mediocre versions of what she wanted but just not quite the right fit. Elena knew she wanted all these features in a dinnerware set that was stylish. Drab colors just weren’t doing it for Elena’s kitchen decor, so she set out to make her own standards in dinnerware with Melamine Kitchen.
I was sent a TMK Ruby 12- piece dinnerware set for review. Upon receiving I found an articulately packed box. Each item in the box was wrapped neatly and carefully.
As you can see below the colors are every bit vibrant and shiny. I love the square design more so than circle so I was so glad that Melamine Kitchen had square options. Way to stay ahead of the decor game!
Our first meal on the plates were grilled bbq ribs, one of my favorites. The plates held the full rack with no issues and were a breeze to clean!
Something I thought important to mention is the slight curve upwards on the edges of the plates. The curve really helped keep my kid’s food from spilling off over the edge of the plate.
Better managed food placement is something not only beneficial to my one year old but also my 4 year old pictured below.
Melamine Kitchen offers great quality plastic dinnerware, that’s affordable, durable (a.k.a. kid proof) and lightweight. They are also 100%BPA free! If you wanted to picnic or camp these would be a great resource to have as they are so lightweight compared to say a stoneware set, yet melamine kitchen is stronger than and less wasteful than a paper plate. So no heavy lugging and no folded over dropped lunch disasters. Melamine kitchen is offering a set for giveaway!
