I love having a cute pair of casual shoes in my spring/summer wardrobe. They make it easy to pull together an outfit in a hurry.
I recently had the opportunity to try Ja-vie shoes. Ja-vie shoes are a perfect combination of ballet flats with jelly shoes. They have a double-ply mercerized cotton knit “sock” with a jelly outsole. The inside of Ja-vie shoes are just as special; they are constructed with cushioned leather insoles.
Ja-vie shoes are available in over twenty color and pattern options. For my review, I received Sand Stripe shoes. Sand Stripe has varying shades of beige material. The “stripe” is VERY subtle. These are the perfect neutral to pair with your bold print or bright colored spring/summer outfits.
I love the support Ja-vie shoes give my feet; they have super padded arch support as well as complete heel support. Ja-vie shoes are lightweight and flexible. They are perfect for busy moms!
The first day I wore my Ja-vie shoes, I had a full morning of grocery shopping planned. I was going to start my day with our once-a-month trip to Costco and then swing by our local grocery store. I figured this would be the perfect time to test my new shoes. After making multiple trips up two flights of stairs to put away groceries, I realized my feet didn’t hurt. Normally, my feet would have been throbbing and I would have felt the need to take my shoes off right away. That wasn’t the case at all. My feet felt great!
When you order Ja-vie shoes, please note they run small. I would actually suggest ordering a size larger (at least) than what you normally wear. This was suggested to me before I placed my order. I followed the suggestion and my shoes are still smaller than what I would like.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. Thanks for the size suggestion. I always check the review to see how the sizing runs since I hate to return things. I wear a lot of beige and black and have way too many black shoes, so these are just what I need.
These shoes sound very comfortable and durable! I love ballet flats, but they do not hold up well to wet/damp weather or heat! I bet the jelly part keeps them nice and dry as well. 🙂
