My family eats most of our meals at home. We prefer homemade meals over premade…for multiple reasons. With us eating so many meals at home, we sometimes find ourselves in a meal rut. I recently realized we were eating the same dinners each and every week. Blah…it was time to try a few new recipes. For inspiration, I turned to San-J Asian cooking sauces. San-J sauces are all natural, kosher, gluten-free and are non-GMO verified.
I received a generous collection of San-J sauces for my review- Sweet & Tangy, Thai Peanut, Orange Sauce, Mongolian and Szechuan.

We have tried all of our San-J sauces in one way or another. We have grilled chicken with the Sweet & Tangy and Orange Sauce. I made stir-fry with the Thai Peanut sauce. All have been delicious, but by far, our favorite has been a meal I made with the Mongolian sauce. I thin sliced beef steak and browned it with a large onion. While that cooked, I prepared a pot of pasta. Once both were cooked, I combined them. Then I added a chopped head of broccoli and about a 1/4 cup of the Mongolian sauce. I let that simmer for a few minutes and then served. My family LOVED this dish. We have actually had it a couple of times this month.
San-J sauces are also great for marinating. This weekend, I plan on marinating thin strips of beef in Szechuan sauce. Then I will use my dehydrator to make jerky. I can’t wait to taste it! I hope the ginger and plum flavors stand out.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I won a set of vinegars similar to this set and boy did I ever enjoy them. They lasted a long time since I hogged them all and tried them on everything. They really add to my simple, bland recipes.
