I was sent a Bocandy subscription box. All opinions are my own.
I was sent the May Bocandy subscription box. Bocandy is a monthly subscription box of candy (and treats or snacks) from a variety of countries. They often include treats from countries such as Greece, Japan, Finland, Australia, Brazil and others.
It’s neat to get to try candy or snacks that aren’t available here. I also like looking at how unique the packaging itself is. The May box included several items, most of which were treats or snacks though there were a few pieces of candy.
I thought it was neat how the packages included a lot of animals or characters. There aren’t many snacks or candy here in the US that include characters so that stood out as unique to me.
The made-in-bulgaria salty sticks are basically pretzels. They are very thin like the skinny stick pretzels that you would buy here in the US, except they’re about twice as long as ours. They were a bit pale in color (not quite as brown) but they tasted just like normal pretzels. I thought it was cute how they sort of make a connection to bamboo with the panda. The Eugenia Junior is a biscuit with some frosting or cream type mixture in the middle that had a honey taste to it.
There were two suckers and a candy bar included as well. The suckers were pretty typical, fruity and sweet suckers. The Price Polo XXL is a chocolate bar with layers of wafer so it’s crispy and airy.
The korsarz treats were little chocolate ball candies. The Honey linzer was like a biscuit or wafer covered in chocolate. This concept didn’t seem that different from the Prince Polo bar, just in different form but Ryan didn’t care for the taste of this one for some reason. I don’t like chocolate at all so I didn’t expect to like it, but I was surprised Ryan did not.
Overall the Bocandy box was a fun experience. We enjoyed all but one item in the box and it was fun to see products we wouldn’t discover otherwise.
You can sign up for Bocandy for as low as $14.48 per month, though price varies depending on the box size you choose and how many months you sign up for.

Interesting subscription box – I’m not sure I would want candy every month. My kids are not really adventurous so this might not work for our family. I love the concept though.

That looks like a fun box to try. Can you read the nutrition label and ingredients or is that in a different language as well?

My elderly dad still loves his candy. Mom and I try to avoid too much sugar so Dad would get it all and have fun discovering all new (to him) candies. It’s a good gift for him at Father’s Day since it’s all for him!
