Hallelujah! It’s our last week of the school year. My daughters go to school in a great school district. Each year, we have been assigned to two wonderful teachers. This year was no exception. Both girls had teachers that made learning fun, they went out of their way to make each student feel special, and took the time to help when kids struggled with lessons or life skills. We are truly blessed to have had them.
To thank our teachers, we like to get them little gifts throughout the year and then a larger gift at the end of the school year. This year, I went to MemorableGifts.com. Savannah thought the character she designed, looked just like her teacher, Mrs. DenHerder. Cheyenne decided to add a bag of M&Ms to her teacher’s candy jar. She believes M&Ms are Mrs. Hobbs favorite candy.
Tomorrow is our last full day of school. The girls are going to give Mrs. DenHerder and Mrs. Hobbs their gifts.They are excited to see how their teacher reacts to it.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list.
