I have been provided with a Nutrisystem plan in exchange for sharing my honest experience and results on my blog. All opinions are my own.
Ryan is on the Nutrisystem men’s plan. It involves eating Nutrisystem provided entrees as well as some grocery store items. For breakfast Ryan has a breakfast entree from Nutrisystem and a “PowerFuel” of his choice. On Nutrisystem, PowerFuels are around 100 calories and are protein sources like lean meats, low-fat dairy or nuts. Most of the time Ryan will have his PowerFuel ‘on the side’ of his entree because it’s hard to find combinations that naturally go together.
However, Ryan creates one “full meal” that combines his Nutrisystem entree and his PowerFuel into a single dish. It’s been his favorite breakfast to have lately. He uses the Nutrisystem provided granola cereal entree and adds it to a container of yogurt that is around 100 calories. The granola doesn’t come in any particular flavor so it can be added to any flavor of yogurt. He likes this breakfast because it’s extremely quick to make so it requires almost no effort. He likes how he can add the granola to a wide range of yogurt flavors so it feels new and different even if he’s had it already that week.
Do any of you who are (or have been) on Nutrisystem have any combinations for entrees and PowerFuels or SmartCarbs that make fun meal? I’d love to hear your ideas.

I really dont know any except if you were going for a hot cereal (which will be soon) heating the granola up with some water in the microwave and adding soy for protein. I dont know if he can have soy though, but I used protein powders in a whole lot of stuff when hubby went through radiation. I added it to oatmeal and hot cereals .

I love to bring a yogurt to work for breakfast also. I do add granola and nuts and it is a healthy breakfast for me too.

I love having yogurt with granola. Even better is making overnight oatmeal by combining 1/4 to 1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal with 1 container yogurt and leaving it in the fridge overnight. It’s amazing with added granola for a crunch!
