When I think about what products I value, the ones that leave me feeling comfortable or warm score pretty high on my list. Products that help me cook yummy foods, keep me warm, or are comfortable to touch or wear just make me happy, period.

For me this carries over to my bedding. I own probably twice as many blankets as the average person but I still have a certain type of throw blanket on my Christmas wish list this year!

I recently partnered with Perfect Linens to try some of their sheets and I’ve fallen in love with them because they leave me warm, cozy and they are so soft. I’ve been using my Perfect Linens sheets for over a month now and I would definitely recommend them as a gift to anyone who enjoys being comfortable, which I think is pretty much everyone!

I get cold much easier than Ryan does. We keep the thermostat where it’s comfortable for him and then I wear thick socks and a sweater all winter. Most of the time when I’m working from my computer I drape a throw blanket over my legs as well! When sleeping I keep an extra blanket over top of me to keep me warm but I sometimes still wake up a bit chilly!

We’ve been using Toastmaster Sheets from Perfect Linens for about a month now and we both love them. They are designed to keep you a bit warmer at night. They are made of brushed microfiber so they are really soft to the touch. They are not particularly thick, and they ranked best for not pilling. We’ve washed these sheets at least twice, maybe three times now and they have come out of the wash looking and feeling great without any pilling at all. Even when I first go to crawl into bed, the top of the sheet doesn’t feel ice-cold like my old sheets did.

I wasn’t sure how Ryan would take to the sheets, with him staying warmer than I do. He hasn’t found them to be too warm for his needs, though. He hasn’t woken up overheated or sweaty. The four piece set comes with a fitted sheet, flat sheet and two pillowcases. Our headboard has crossed slats in it that have somewhat unfortunate placement because the biggest gap is right where our pillows go. With our old sheets and pillowcases, the fabrics would slide against each other and our pillows would fall through the gap in our headboard regularly. These new sheets have just enough texture that it keeps a bit of friction between the pillowcase and the sheet so our pillows don’t slip off the bed anymore which is obviously a minor feature but we’ve both enjoyed not having to crawl under the bed to get our pillows from the floor in the middle of the night anymore.

We were also sent Second Skin Sheets. The Second Skin Sheets are the ideal combination between cotton sheets and microfiber sheets. They are soft like microfiber, instead of stiff like cotton. However, unlike microfiber, they do not cling to you like nylon stockings. Plus they have an overall airy feeling and they won’t leave you too hot or humid feeling in warmer months. I can see these being Ryan’s favorite especially during spring or summer due to how light and airy they are.
