Daily Goodie Box Review – FREE Sample Box | Emily Reviews
daily goodie box

I will receive 3 Daily Goodie Boxes in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.

Subscription boxes have been all the rage for a few years now. I certainly understand their appeal – it’s fun to get a surprise in the mail. I’ve tried a few subscription boxes that I enjoyed. Daily Goodie Box isn’t a traditional subscription box, but it is a 100% free box of samples that you can apply to receive.

You don’t have to be a blogger or social media user. Anyone can apply. The box is called Daily Goodie Box because they choose people each day to qualify for a box. Once you apply you just wait until your name is chosen to get a box. You are not guaranteed to get a box. When I first signed up for Daily Goodie Box it was a few months ago. I signed up as a regular user, so they didn’t know I was a blogger. They ask some basic questions such as whether or not you have kids, whether you have pets, and so on. I got accepted for my first box after about 3.5 weeks. I took this photo to share what was in my first box on my personal Facebook page. Sorry the pictures aren’t better, I had no idea I would later be doing this review and would want better photos for you guys!

My first box included a full size bag of cookie mix (that is quite pricey at my local grocery store), peanut butter powder, a mediterra bar, energy drink mix, facial lotion, crackers, a candy bar, chocolate powder, another lotion and eco-dent. Once I had tried each of these items I logged into dailygoodiebox.com to share a mini review and answer some quick questions. There is no tweeting, blogging or other promotion required.

Now recently I was contacted by Daily Goodie Box to set up a review. In that box I discovered a few new fun products.

This month included a 15-use pack of laundry soap, a drink/soda, xylitol gum, water mix, a fig bar, coffee flavoring, some trail mix, a meat snack stick, daily greens powder, a small tube of toothpaste and some BBQ popped chips.

I love how you never have any idea what may be included. Some of the stuff included isn’t of much interest to us because we don’t rink greens or coffee. However, we liked trying the snack stick, chips, gum trail mix and laundry soap.

I’m so jealous that you only had to wait such a short period of time before you received your first box! I love the products you’ve received thus far.

how interesting! It sounds like a twist on the standard product review panel, and this way they try to make sure they get diverse feedback on the products.

  • Jeanine Carlson

Funny that I have waited almost 3 years now still nothing but extra junk mail and junk email and scams in my email .. interesting …I dare people to look them up. See what happens. Yes its a scam.,

  • Ryan Kayne

It is a scam. Been signed up for almost a year and nothing at all – even the communication from them has completely stopped. Don’t waste your time…

    • It is not a scam, but the site does say that you are not guaranteed to get chosen for a box. You are just signing up for a chance to get one. It is often based on demographics so they might choose women ages 30-40 one month, or mothers with kids under age 10 another month, and so on. If you search any popular social media site such as instagram or twitter for daily goodie box you’ll see lots of regular, everyday people with boxes they have been sent.

    Hi
I have tried so many of these ‘FREE STUFF… survey’s! Share, make a account with them! A bunch of BS!
The one person says that they have waited for 3 years! Some people still haven’t received there boxes!
I think I’ll pass on this one..
Good luck to those of you who haven’t received your so called “GOODIE BOX”

Hi Emily what I was wondering if The DailyGoodieBox is the only product or company that you have reviewed. Did you get picked and decided to great your blog then of reviewing items that you have gotten free, or did you already have the blog and reviewed other item.Thank you very much for taking the time to answer our questions .

    • Hi Tina,
I had my blog for several years before reviewing Daily Goodie Box. I started this blog in 2009 for my Etsy shop (which no longer exists) but I did my first review in November or December of 2009. So it had been around about 8 years before I did this Daily Goodie Box review. If you’re asking because you are interested in creating a blog to work with brands on reviews, you have to have content and readers before brands will want to work with you as their goal is to have their items or services seen by people. 🙂

      • Tina Geane

Going back, I came across this comment from you! Why would you be so rude to someone- Isnt that how you got started! You have no idea- how many ppl follow, read, or are interest in what I say. Across every state in USA& Cananda I have OVER 3900 immediate family! By both parents coming from Very large families & that doesnt count all followers Between Ig, Twitter, Pinterest, Google, facebook so I’d say you didnt corner the market! Maybe these companies should know how your discouraging instead of incouraging ppl to be involved! And I thought you’d be one of those great woman that lift others up, hmmm…………

        • I had to come back to this post to see my old comment. I was not intending to be rude at all, I am sorry that it read as negative to you as that wasn’t how I felt or how I intended it. I was just trying to explain how companies who work with bloggers on reviews typically do so based on how many followers you have on social media. If they could choose between a blogger who has 50,000 people on her blog each month or someone who has 100,000 people on her blog a month, they are almost always going to pick the person with 100,000. So when you were asking how to go about getting items to review from a company, my advice was to build up your following. The more people in your audience, the more likely it is for a brand to be willing to do reviews on your blog and/or social media channels. I didn’t at all mean to imply that people don’t care what you have to say or that I have cornered the review market or anything like that. I just meant if you want to work with companies try to build up your audience as big as you can because to brands, the more people who will see their product the better “value” that review has.

The narrator probably works with this scam company. I have been a member for years and never been chosen. I sign up for this stuff online all the time and never have won any thing.

  • Crystal

Sorry, this is a scam. Always get emails telling me that I have samples, but no samples when I log on. But they do have all the scammy messages to sign up for other survey sites or scams.

  • Tina Geane

I have recieved a daily goodie box, I do surveys on OneOpinion also and as soon as you accumalate enough points: you get a $20 giftcard to which stores they show. I always pick Walmart, the day I hit the amt. And within 2 days I get the giftcard in mail. Its all up to you how fast or slow. If u dont qualify for a particle survey you still get 50pts (5 times per day) but some surveys are 1000 or more pts. You can do as much as you want daily though. Mainly about everyday products. Ive recieved a few gc, and am not getting compensated I just thought I’d tell u & Im not a blogger.
